My Part in The Partnership: Meet Amy


As children grow up, they become more independent and begin to look for their place in the world. For Amy Dorsch, Director of Empowerment of Families with School Aged Children at The Partnership, this was something that she feels should be encouraged Jewishly.

My Part in The Partnership: Meet Jody


The Partnership  for Jewish Learning and Life is pleased to announce Jody Hurwitz Caplan as the new President of the Board of Trustees. Jody has served on the board since 2012, and she explains what brought her to The Partnership:


"I was first introduced to The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life as the recipient family of a One Happy Camper NJ grant. As someone who went to a Jewish camp and also worked on staff as a counselor, I had first-hand knowledge of the magic and power of a Jewish summer experience."

My Part in The Partnership: Meet Rachel

Rachel_Family.pngNow is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors. For Rachel and her family, attending Shabbat in Bloom has provided a great opportunity to visit local parks while engaging in a social Jewish activity. Shabbat in Bloom is a celebration of music and movement, led by two educators and a musician, which engages young people and their families in pre-Shabbat celebration through songs and stories.

"Throughout the week, I hear my two kids in the backseat singing the songs from Shabbat in Bloom. Each time we go we gain something different from the experience."
